I took this photograph early morning on a Saturday, just right after sunrise, so the streets were generally empty at that time of the week. I think the mural to the right that looks like sails painted on a black and white background has been there since the 1980s. This slice of downtown Miami is packed with much history, at least for those who remember the area without the people mover and some other structures that seem superimposed on the old Miami.
